about me

I started my career as a student at the San Francisco School of Arts in the early 1990s, where I was inspired by the work of the late, legendary author of Making Faces, KevynAucoin. I agree with his philosophy that the right cosmetics can completely transform the way any woman looks and feels about herself; this is also the philosophy I apply to my own work as a make-up artist. Since progressing from salesgirl, for more than 20 years
I’ve worked as a freelance make-up artist for a number of major companies such as
Chanel, MAC, Bobbi Brown, NARS, Laura Mercier and Sue Devitt. I’ve worked in LA, Honolulu and London (where I am now based) on many projects and am currently
shooting a series of street makeovers in and around London, designed to show women
of all ages how to make the most of their natural beauty in the shortest possible time.
I’ve recently written a book discussing the hot topics that concern young women today:
Your Mother Should Have Told You, to be published by SilverWood in October 2015.
